Community Comes First
Founded in 2023, 1st Place Community Center is a coalition of support networks that focus on bringing resources, education, and community building to the forefront of the C.A.N.D.O neighborhood of Mesa, Arizona. First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lutheran Social Services, and Concordia Charter School have joined together to expand their reach in the community and continue their work of supporting those in need as one entity, united in their mission of creating access to healthy food, educational opportunities, communal support, and much more.
Who We Are
1st Place utilizes this unique network of organizations to directly impact their community through programs such as Manna Nights, monthly community events, faith and worship, and educational support.
